Can I transport my car along with my household goods?
Yes. The car goes on a carrier and the household goods in a separate truck, both booked together.
How much does car transport from Mumbai cost?
A hatchback or sedan usually costs ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 to Pune and ₹7,500 to ₹15,000 to Bangalore or Delhi on an open carrier. See car transport charges.
Is my car insured during transport?
Ask us about transit insurance; it is usually about 2% to 3% of the declared value of the car.
Can I keep luggage inside the car?
No. Personal items are not covered and may be checked at state borders.
Do I need to re-register my car in a new state?
If you move permanently, the new state's re-registration rules apply. Check on Parivahan or with your RTO.
